Rengoku

I have put so many emotions into this illustration that there is now only emptiness inside. This was the first work that I cried over every time I sat down to draw it.

My heart is constantly shrinking as I think that Senjuro was going through when his beloved brother was gone. After all, with what trepidation he waited for Kejuro to return home when he could again feel the warmth of the light in his heart that he gave him, he was the support and support of a child who had to grow up too early.

The film dedicated to the arch with Rengoku has the main theme — Homura and the words spoken in it are associated with the fact that they were the words of Senjuro himself, addressed to Kejuro. There is a very good cover of it in Russian, which is performed by Sati Akura. If you do not bleed out of your ears when listening to translations of the openings, then I highly recommend it, as well as the entire playlist of music from the movie. She's amazing.

I am very sorry that the artstation format squeezes all the beauty of the drawing, so I made an album with fragments of the work that I really like myself. Here I tried very hard to work with the color so that it was as expressive and pleasant as possible. In the following days, I will also publish my favorite fragments and discuss this work a little.
